In January of 1986 I started my journey into the retail industry by opening the Country Gift Shoppe which was located at the present location of the Paper Chain. This shop included both cards and giftware.
Mattick’s Farm expanded in 1997 when building started for the new part at the back where the present courtyard is located. At that point what is known today as the Country Gift Shoppe was split into 2 shops which was the beginning of the Paper Chain.
Every card in the shop is very carefully “hand-selected” and includes everything from humour to insprirational. In addition to our cards there is an amazing selection of unique giftware and treasures that will put a smile on your face.
